I found myself at a bit of a plateau last week and did the most retarded thing I could think of: go on a fad diet. For some reason, my fucked up mind thought it would be a good idea to starve myself 2 days a week in order to lose weight. In theory, I’m sure it would work. But I just got sick. No thank you!
It’s called the 5:2 diet. Eat like shit for 5 days (I stuck to my regular healthy diet), and eat 500 calories for 2 days in a row (I cut that 500 down to anywhere between 0 and 200). I was a bitch, I acquired a cute illness that makes me feel like my head is filled with helium, and I lost…..2 pounds. I didn’t have the energy to work out, and I blamed it on the sickness. F that S!
Moral of the story: I’m going to continue to eat right and exercise. It’s a lifestyle I can continue for the rest of my life. And let’s face it, I feel awesome every day when I eat healthy and work out!
On a happy note, PattyCakes and the Beaux built me a fort so I could breathe in Vicks vapors (slash just so I could play in the fort):
And I made a new workout shirt! I did a shitty job, but no one goes to my apartment gym anyway 😀
I’ll leave you guys with a little water drinking tip I like to use. In order to get all of my water in for the day, I drink a glass of water on the hour every hour. It somehow makes the day go faster, and I’m super duper hydrated. Score!
